outlook mac 2016 stuck in connecting status 20-30 minutes few times week. outlook , mac os both latest versions. owa , internet works fine. outlook on iphone works fine @ same time. @ same profile configured gmail account, can't send or receive emails. both exchange , gmail account starts working @ same time.

- try creating new outlook mac profile see if there improvement.
- try switching different network environment , test again. example, if issue happens office network, can switch home network see if issue persists.
meanwhile, i’d collect more information better understand issue:
- the detailed version of outlook mac client.
- what if configure office 365 account on mac machine’s outlook mac client, same issue happen?
- the detailed steps of how set office 365 account outlook mac client.
