Outlook 2016 - Microsoft Community


when tried open outlook got: cannot start microsoft outlook. cannot open outlook window. set of folders cannot opened. file c:\users\shelly\documents\outlook files\backup.pst cannot opened. had local guy @ , opens data missing. need uninstall , reinstall, if lose files , data.

before trying uninstall , reinstall outlook 2016, feel free check out this article our support website steps on how backup , restore .pst files. way, won't have worry losing files when uninstall-reinstall process.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
