Outlook clears then reloads messages - Microsoft Community


we're using outlook 2016 mac on os sierra 10.12.5.

outlook randomly clears messages, redownloads messages.  today, did 4 times.  how correct this?

which kind of account using on outlook mac? exchange account such office 365 business mailbox or pop/imap account?

then, make sure using latest version of outlook 2016 checking updates.

click > check updates > tick manually check > check updates. latest version 15.35 170610.

if issue occurs in latest version of outlook, try creating new profile( not delete old one):

from finder, open applications folder.

ctrl+click or right-click microsoft outlook, , click show package contents.

open contents > sharedsupport, , double-click outlook profile manager.

click create new profile button “+”, , type name new profile.

click new created profile, click set gear icon > click set default. restart outlook change take effect.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community
