hi hansjoerg,

thank information. can try customize ribbons on compose tools message ribbon, make language (proofing tool) appear on main tab (without pop-up) on replies and forwards.

to this, try customize ribbon on outlook 2016 client, following steps below:

1.) go file > options > customize ribbon.

2.) under choose commands from, select all commands.

3.) under customize ribbon, select tool tabs.

4.) choose language (proofing tool) on commands list. later can add spelling & grammar , translate document (optional).

5.) under first compose tools, highlight message , click new group.

6.) rename new custom groups desired name. in example in screenshot above, have named “review (main tab)”.

7.) can drag , drop change position of new custom group on ribbon, can see example below after clipboard group.

8.) can hit ok , check if ribbon appear on replies , forwards of email messages.

let me know if customizing ribbon meets requirement.

looking forward updates.

best regards,

ruel
