Slow response then clicking on hyperlink in Outlook 2016 - Microsoft Community


when clicking on hyperlink in outlook 2016 email, response slow.

does not appear browser specific.

to troubleshoot issue, i’d collect following information:

  1. what default browser? if change default browser, issue occur?
  2. the detailed version of outlook client. please make sure latest. navigate file > office account > update options > update
  3. please try run office 365 support , recovery assistant (sara) tool, can resolve outlook general issues
  4. to see if issue related add-ins, try open outlook in  safe mode . if issue gone in safe mode, outlook starts without extensions, reading pane , toolbar customizations, maybe have add-in causing problem.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
