hello there!

noob question alert. can please out simple explanation of why email app in win 10 can receive emails instantaneously (or come in), once add email account (gmail in case) , outlook 2016 not (at least cant figure part out).

i'm trying set personal gmail account in outlook, can receive emails being send me without having press send/receive button or setting scheduled check ins.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
