Outlook 2016 for Mac underlining and bolding message text after - Microsoft Community

when start new message on outlook 15.29 on mac, preview of message text looks expect to, after sending text (including signature) set bold , underlined. i've tried setting font preferences problem returns. 

the way i've found not send message full of obnoxious bold underlined text turn off html formatting, not solution.

is problem preference files in system library or something?

i understand have tried uncheck “internet , network paths…..” option in autoformat setting on outlook in thread.

 

to further troubleshoot issue, please provide following information:

1.) the detailed outlook mac version, example 15.29 (170104). , detailed mac os version, example macos sierra version 10.12 (16a232).

2.) try change signature of email (outlook > signatures > create new signature “+” or change “standard”). issue still occur when not include “signature” on sending mail?

3.) screenshots of sample emails underlined , bold texts , sample email has underlined , bold texts.

4.) underlined , bold formats occurs, on own sent items folder or in recipients side?

5.) issue occurs on emails or specific emails? if specific emails, these emails have in common?
