hi ketheeon,

this issue can caused multiple reasons. please try following see if works:

1.to identify if issue related add-ins, please start outlook in safe mode see if issue persists. (click start > run> type outlook.exe /safe> clickok.)

if works, try disabling add-ins see if works:

click file> options> add-ins> select “com add-ins” in manage drop-down> click go> uncheck add-ins not using> click ok.

2.make sure don’t have third-party add-ins/ antivirus applications installed may cause issue.

3.try performing clean boot in windows to check if works. this eliminate whether issue caused software conflicts.

4. try remove additional monitors, mouse, , keyboard dock check if issue persists.

5.do a quick repair for office suite, if doesn’t work, online repair.

6.if using office 365 account, can try using sara tool diagnose , fix issue.

7. try creating new outlook profile to see if works. please before taking action in case data loss.

if issue persists, outlook version can affect issue. office 2010 (outlook 2010) has left mainstream support in october 13, 2015. to have better experience, we recommend upgrade outlook 2010 outlook 2016 , see if issue persists. for more information outlook update (upgrade), can refer to: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/search?alpha=outlook%202010

thanks understanding.

regards,

monique
