Cannot import mbox files into Outlook 2011 - Microsoft Community


all other aspects of outlook 2011 working when try import mbox file, file names greyed out. 

i have macbook air 2015 running on el capitan (osx 10.11.2).

i have been using usual process (file / import / contacts or messages text file / mbox format text file).

i @ loss try desperate these email folders outlook app...

any advice/suggestions welcome!

according description, issue may related mbox file. try dragging email folder desktop , import mbox file again. can check if problem related specific mbox file.

 

if still can’t import newly mbox file, please give screenshot of “the file names greyed out”. can know current situation. moreover, please let know detailed version of outlook 2011 mac client. try reproduce problem on our side.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
