Outlook 2013 All folders are upto date but dont receive and cant send - Microsoft Community


hi friends,

my outlook shows folders date , connected microsoft exchange still unable receive new emails , unable send emails. mails sent stay in outbox. issue happens when connected wifi @ home. @ office , hotels, outlook works on wifi except home. everytime have use mobile data tethering , can continue accessing emails.

is problem isp although web browising , ms lync works on wifi. email problem. have tried multiple forums not getting help

aside network connection , outdated folders, 1 of possible reasons why won’t able send or receive emails in outlook 2013 outlook connection status. might want check if outlook 2013 on work offline or disconnected. connection status located @ lower right side of email window.

 

 

you can switch online status following steps provided in link. includes helpful tips , suggestions.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
