Cannot see videos in Powerpoint 2013 in Slideshow - Microsoft Community


can see videos in normal view, screen goes black when switch slideshow.  i can hear audio, screen black. checked conflicts in info section of power point, , there none.   see 2 updates available, when try install message no products updates installed on system.  those 2 updates not listed in update history.  video drivers date.  windows 7 64 bit, 8 gigs of ram

i got problem fixed, quite accident.  in power point options/advanced/display, checked disable slideshow hardware graphics acceleration.  quite interesting since there disable graphics hardware acceleration.  evidently slideshow must use different 'program' other parts of power point.   instantly see videos when switched slideshow.  i suspect problem related graphics card, hp modified when built computer.  i because have 2 other window 7, office 2013 computers not have box checked , work fine.  

so recommend problem try , see if helps.  j wood

how disable new feature one-click archive or restore backspace/delete remove email instead of archiving? it's confusing find junk mails in archive folder and annoying find out there no way unbind backspace/delete button archive you can disable backspace shortcut affects using backspace in outlook - backspace work typing won't if click in text , try backspace.
