Inbox shows numerous unread emails - Microsoft Community


outlook showed no unread emails, when opened later in day, showed 377 unread.  of tehm had been read.  has done several times.

how can fix it?

  • have made changes on device prior issue?
  • what type of account have configured in outlook (pop3, imap, exchange activesync or exchange account)?
  • what troubleshooting steps have done far?
  • are experiencing issue on outlook.com?

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
