Outlook 2016 MAC on Office 365 Not Authenticating - Microsoft Community


hi

i have tried opening outlook 2016 mac on office 365 subscription morning , been prompted username , password, have duly entered, re-prompted ad infinitum.

  • i have checked subscription, good
  • i have reset office 365 password
  • i can access without issues on phone , tablet , via online portal
  • i have updated outlook , osx
  • i have reinstalled office
  • i have deleted , reconfigure office 365 account on outlook*

nothing working. *when attempting reconfigure outlook account, message "authentication failed. check information , try again."

i have fixed. required delete keychain on mac, follows:

  1. start app keychain access
  2. open preferences , select reset default keychain



Office / Outlook / Mac / Office 365 for business

Sync Error: 800CCC0F-0-0-560 and 8004DF03-0-0-560 - Microsoft Community

hello i know others have posted error, not recently, , not outlook 2016. have imap account. so receiving number of errors in synchronization logs (800ccc0f-0-0-560 , 8004df03-0-0-560). appears draft folder thats causing issue. however, there nothing saved in draft folder in outlook or webmail client. i have talked 4 different microsoft tech support people. have repaired office, repaired pst file, created new outlook data file, turned off antivirus, subscribed/unsubscirbed folders (though cant unsubscribe drafts). any ideas? hi weiss, you may getting errors due permissions in outlook. let's see if changing root folder make difference when syncing mail. follow these steps: open outlook. click on file . go account settings . select account settings . click on change . select more settings . go advanced . enter inbox as root folder path . click ok . restart outlook. let know if steps allow aroun...
