i have stuck calander cancellation notice response (remove calendar) in outbox. this prohibiting calendar activities.
i have tried placing outlook 2016 (v 15.33) in "work offline" mode, , restarting outlook client. have double checked no microsoft services running in activity monitor. i restart outlook, shows in "work offline", , still cannot delete email outbox.

from description, understand cannot cancel calendar cancel email stuck in outbox of account in outlook mac. , stuck makes calendar cannot work fine.
if yes, suggest following troubleshooting steps:
1. remove stuck emails folder in account , delete it.
here steps:
1. in outlook, select send/receive tab, , select work offline.
note: stops outlook trying send email messages.
2. select outbox. can move message folder such drafts folder. can either drag message drafts folder or can right-click message, select move > other folder > drafts folder list.
o note: this enables open large email message, , remove, resize , re-add attachments before try resend email message again.
o delete message: right-click message , select delete.
1. if method doesn’t work , email appears in the web mail client, can try move folder , delete it.
2. also can let sender of calendar invitation send invitation again. check if can accept invites successfully.
if messages still cannot deleted after trying methosd above, confirm following information:
1. is there sync errors in outlook mac? can check under tools. if yes, please send screenshot of it.
2. as metioned this prohibiting calendar activities, mean calendar can not send or receive type of meeting request or others? can work fine in web mail client?
3. what type of account using, office 365, gmail or others? how configure in outlook mac client, via exchange or google preview?
4. the detailed version of outlook mac. example, version 15.33 (170309). can check following steps:
1. click on menu labeled outlook (next apple logo in top left corner of screen).
2. click outlook.
