Outlook 2013 outbound mail failure - Microsoft Community


i can receive email, outgoing mail remains in outbox, regardless of recipient.  true regardless of outgoing server selection, imap or pop.  have deleted profile , started over.  can't figure out.  computer in office works set up.

hi parker,

it's possible use workaround setting root folder path. this, let's follow these steps:

  1. go file tab , click account settings.
  2. click account settings , double-click on imap account.
  3. click on more options, click advanced tab.
  4. click option root folder path, set “inbox.”
  5. ok out of opened dialogs.
