Outlook 2016 Creating logs in temp folder when logging is disabled - Microsoft Community


i using outlook under office 365 license.

outlook 2016 creating logs in temp folder when no such logging has been enabled (enable troubleshoot logging not selected)

the folder created every time delete temp folder "outlook logging". gets created when start outlook. there files inside folder created every time open outlook (if not delete main folder)

the main folder “outlook logging”

sub files name “outlook-20170608t2009110068.etl”

also in main temp folder additional files created linked outlook “{0a1fc06c-9f4e-4854-ac10-389187af4569} – oprocsessid”

please note had disabled mcafee plug-in in outlook (re-started machine), logs still being created. windows defender , mcafee av scans clean.

when have not enabled outlook logging why these files being created – have these been created default microsoft process.

hello,

it appears you're having problems logs being created automatically in temp folder of outlook application. know email protocol (pop/imap/exchange) using. recommend try repair outlook data files, , see if helps. so, follow steps on article.
