Outlook won't sign in / accept credentials - Microsoft Community


greetings

on mbp running el capitan.  running outlook 365 via educational site.  

everything fine until last night when outlook kept asking me login credentials. then, after entering them, says not authenticated. tried deleting account , adding , can't add account @ all. 

i can log in exchange account via:  mac mail / calendars, iphone, webmail/365 via browser. in addition, can log in word using same credentials.  mac next me running old office 2011 gets mail fine.

the attached image shows prompt i'm getting.  i deleted outlook computer , re-installed no dice.  i have not deleted of office yet. 

any on next appreciated.


i suspect adal entries corrupted , couldn’t
updated, triggering request authentication again.
when deleted them, outlook had re-create new, clean ones ,
time, able save status after authentication.

Sync Error: 800CCC0F-0-0-560 and 8004DF03-0-0-560 - Microsoft Community

hello i know others have posted error, not recently, , not outlook 2016. have imap account. so receiving number of errors in synchronization logs (800ccc0f-0-0-560 , 8004df03-0-0-560). appears draft folder thats causing issue. however, there nothing saved in draft folder in outlook or webmail client. i have talked 4 different microsoft tech support people. have repaired office, repaired pst file, created new outlook data file, turned off antivirus, subscribed/unsubscirbed folders (though cant unsubscribe drafts). any ideas? hi weiss, you may getting errors due permissions in outlook. let's see if changing root folder make difference when syncing mail. follow these steps: open outlook. click on file . go account settings . select account settings . click on change . select more settings . go advanced . enter inbox as root folder path . click ok . restart outlook. let know if steps allow aroun...
