Unable to add Yahoo account - Microsoft Community


hey !

last night unable send emails through yahoo mail server microsoft outlook 365 2016 edition. incoming working. 

error outgoing: receiving popup window enter username , password server failed respond. 

today morning, removed account , trying add again yahoo account in microsoft office 365 outlook 2016, , microsoft office outlook 2007. account unable add.

please find below configuring details enter.

incoming: imap.mail.yahoo.com

port: 993

outgoing: smtp.mail.yahoo.com

port: 465

the error : "  error (0x8004210b) : operation timed out waiting response (smtp) server. if continue receive message, contact server administrator or isp"  for both outlook products.

please me resolve issue @ earliest.

may know what's antivirus installed on computer? sometimes, antivirus application on computer can cause issue.

you can refer steps provided on link.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
