Emails sent from Outlook in Citrix session are getting stuck in the - Microsoft Community

hi there,

we have strange problem email messages sent outlook launched citrix not being sent , getting stuck in outbox on local client version of outlook. doesn't happen of time have been able reproduce problem in following way

outlook closed in citrix session , on local pc (confirmed checking task manager , citrix director) open document word or excel using citrix version of application, select file "save , send" enter recipients of email , click send, email disappears , looks have been sent, outlook still closed in citrix , on local pc.

recipient doesn't receive message, message not visible in message trace on office 365, message cannot found e-discover on office 365, give myself permission users mailbox, message not visible in folder when viewing mailbox in outlook web app or local or citrix outlook.

if affected user opens local copy of outlook message sent , can viewed in message trace, e-discovery , arrives recipient. if outlook on citrix opened message not available , not received, recipient can shared mailbox or user mailbox. have confirmed message stuck in local outlook outbox having user reproduce issue , disconnecting pc network before opening local copy of outlook , checking outbox. 

outlook version 2010 on citrix , pc using office 365, in citrix online mode used, local pc client has outlook cached mode enabled, both set send when connected, outlook not set work offline , shows connected @ times.

the issue has been going on time, thought thata local copy of word or excel being launched ,  sending messages local cached copy of outlook sitting in outbox due outlook being closed, not caase. has been suggested users should leave locally installed outlook open @ times confusing many users have been told use citrix applications

i have worked office 365 support , have confirmed there no delay on office 365 side first time office 365 message trace 'sees' stuck message when user launches local copy of outlook , message delivered recipient, have confirmed message in local outlook outbox.

if have got far sticking me, or advice appreciated.

• have tried running office repair?
• have tried sending outlook emails outside citrix? able send emails?
  
• when logged in outlook.com, able see emails in outbox folder?
