Can't preview image attachements Outlook - Microsoft Community


for few months haven't been able preview images in outlook (jpg, etc)

sometimes can see 1 or 2 attached images. none , none send out. talked tech support long time on phone messed computer , didn't fix anything. have googled tried suggested fixes again no luck. here message get

"this file cannot previewed because of error following previewer:

microsoft outlook image previewer

to open file in it's own program double click it"

the tech took on computer remotely tried bunch of things including , box not checked didn't help.

  1. in outlook, go “file” > “options” > “trust center” > “trust center settings…” > “attachment handling“.
  2. ensure “turn off attachment preview” not checked.
  3. select “attachment , document previewers…” button.
  4. make sure previewer wish use checked, select “ok” 3 times.

odd can preview images not most. when jpgs.

please driving me nuts!

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
