CANNOT RECEIVE BellSouth EMAIL IN MICROSOFT OFFICE OUTLOOK 2010 ON - Microsoft Community


hello group!

i using microsoft office suite pro 2010. windows insider preview version 1703 build 15063.11

my email account a bellsouth.net account.

i can send emails cannot not receive emails at&t / bellsouth.net web mail.

on march 31st at&t / bellsouth made changes at&t home web page , other changes.

up until then, march 31st had no problems sending or receiving. do. at&t / bellsouth technical support

told me had nothing changes. ( funny huh ) started march 31st when made changes.

below how have set , has worked until april 1st. along error message:

user information:
name: *******
e-mail address: *******
account type: pop3
incoming mail server: pop.att.yahoo.com
outgoing mail server: smtp.att.yahoo.com
logon information:
user name: *******
password: *******

more settings
under,
general tab
mail account: *******
under e-mail settings tab,
|_*__| outgoing server (stmp) requires authentication
* use same settings incoming server
under connection tab,
* connect using local area network ( lan )
under advanced tab,
server port numbers,
incoming server (pop3) 995
|_*__| server requires encrypted connection (ssl)
outgoing server (stmp) 465
use following type of encrypted connection |ssl|

error message:

here error message keep receiving:
ask '*******- receiving' reported error (080042110) :
'your pop2 server providing inconsistent information. number of messages
returned stat command not match number of items returned uidl
or list commands. contact pop3 or internet service provider.'

cannot receive email at&t / bellsouth web mail microsoft office outlook 2010.

at&t made changes at&t home page , other stuff on march 31st 2010. when incoming mail stopped. contacted at&t , said changes had nothing it. ( funny huh? ) stopped receiving email on april 1st @ 12:04 am.

below how have set along error message @ end.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
