Initial cursor location when replying to email - Outlook 2016 - Microsoft Community


hello all,

i upgraded outlook 2011. after clicking reply, used start typing message. however, in new version, new (reply) window pops up,  the cursor located in "to:" field.  

is there way make cursor appear directly message space?

there no option change default cursor location, going directly body of message when composing new message. latest  outlook mac version 15.30 (170107) released , may try upgrading see if issue can fixed.  before upgrading outlook 15.30, please perform a complete uninstall office 2016 mac 15.29.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
