Outlook 2016, V. 1702 (part of office 365) searches not - Microsoft Community


i have number of clients office 365 v1702 use outlook 2016. of latest update of office 365 software in last 2 weeks, searches not work. running windows 7. searches return "no results" no effort search. there no issues pst data files occurs on each , every file (9 different files).

the thing caused issue update office 365 v1701 v1702. there no issue computer, security, nor viruses or spyware.

this we've tried no avail:

  • uninstall, reinstall, clean install
  • rebuilding indexing
  • unchecking indexing in windows, rebooting, rechecking indexing in windows , rebuilding.

this seems big problem , ms needs address immediately.

same problem, tried rollback version 1701, using following microsoft article:

but have no success, because instead of asking me repair office says still updated latest version (thanks, know that...)

please give fast resolution that, have 150-200 client problem.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
