Outlook365 IMAP Sync Issues - Microsoft Community


i have setup outlook365 sync imap account.  it continually keeps resyncing entire contents of email each time go outlook.  i want download entire contents of email laptop , have sync changes made email, folders, structure, etc..  if leave it, mailbox syncs, start 0 again.

i'm using latest version of outlook365 , laptop macbook pro.

any gladly appreciated.

based on experience, still need time update folders in outlook mac client though don’t make changes when opening outlook.

 

to better understand scenario, need information below:
1. detailed versions of outlook mac , mac os. example, outlook 2016 mac 15.32 (170309) , sierra 10.12.

2. detailed steps how configure account on outlook mac client?

3. how notice “it start 0 again”? upload screenshot it?

4. what’s size of mailbox?

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
