Reconnect Outlook 2016 different email - Microsoft Community


when reconnecting outlook account. original outlook email name changed ***remove email address security purposes***  when send emails outlook 2016 return address odd name , if replies following:

      automatically generated delivery status notification.     

delivery following recipients failed permanently:

    ***remove email address security purposes*** 

reason: permanent error

anyone know how correct this?

1. how trying access outlook account? through outlook application or website?

2. if accessing outlook through outlook application then, office version installed on system?

3. if accessing outlook through website then, on web browser issue persist?

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
