Can't attach e-mails to Outlook directly from Excel/Word - Microsoft Community


i have office 365 using outlook 2016 & excel/word.  os windows 8

i having trouble sending e-mail directly excel & word.  instead of automatically opening outlook message, program becomes non-responsive.  i can connect file outlook no problem, if try connect application using hangs up?  any suggestions?

make outlook default mail program , try repairing office.

in addition, please check if office latest version.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
