How to send/receive to a new PST file and not to an old one. - Microsoft Community


i created new pst file.  my old file corrupted , can’t use it.  while i’m trying solve created new pst file.  however, when send/receive, don’t want outlook try send , receive old file.  how can send/receive new file?

 

if open outlook new file , outlook didn’t pay attention old one, good.

if you're using outlook 2016, try selecting file tab, optionally select e-mail account wish change near top of column on right, account settings drop-down list, select account settings. have chance select e-mail account change later on.

this should bring account settings box. select email tab, should see list of e-mail accounts have set in outlook. other chance select e-mail account wish change. @ bottom of email tab, there change folder button. can use change message deliver e-mail account have selected in email tab.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
