Outlook Calendar items not showing - Microsoft Community


just got new phone samsung s8+ , trying outlook running. on old phone used android email app, , worked ok, rather use outlook if can functional.

the main issue i'm having meetings not giving me actual on screen notification when meeting comes up. on android email app, 15 minutes before i'd on screen notification similar alarm tell me have meeting @ x time. i've found notification section in outlook android , set 15 minutes. sound only, not on screen notification need, 1 allows snooze, dismiss, etc.

what need change give me full fledged in face notification meetings/calendar items?

edit: , looking @ app permissions, i'm wondering if need give outlook permissions phone calendar? why did not outlook ask when installed? edit2: gave outlook permission calendar , did not help. still no notification.
