Outlooks seems to automatically archive inbox - Microsoft Community


outlook inbox displays new emails received, seems randomly archive them.  if search specific email can find it, outlook (every few weeks?) clears out inbox.  

do mean dont see (outlook 2016 desktop)

hello, i've problems receiving mails office365 email address. Disable one-click archive - Microsoft Community

how disable new feature one-click archive or restore backspace/delete remove email instead of archiving? it's confusing find junk mails in archive folder and annoying find out there no way unbind backspace/delete button archive you can disable backspace shortcut affects using backspace in outlook - backspace work typing won't if click in text , try backspace. (type space backspace works again).  i have instructions , more information on disabling archive at  https://www.slipstick.com/outlook/outlook-2016s-archive-button/ >> restore backspace/delete remove email instead the delete key still delete messages, it's separate backspace key.  messages delete  using del key (or x button) should in deleted items, not archive folder.  use shift + delete permanently delete .  if use smartphone , outlook app, make sure swipe left , right set way expect - mine got switched ...
