Problems with Font - Microsoft Community

i configured outlook write emails font. however, after typing words, font automatically changed calibri. not know do, thank help.

hi sergoliat,

please check if have set correct font messages send. go outlook > preferences > personal settings > new > change “new” settings desired font.

now check if format of new email on plain text or html. see it on html formatting (draft > html format - checked).

if issue still occurs, may happen when preference file corrupt. may rebuild file give shot. here steps:

1.) try quitting office 2016 acting (in fact quit finder screen).
2.) locate following files: 
com.microsoft.word.plist located at:
username/library/containers/com.microsoft.outlook/data/library/preferences
normal.dotm located at:
username/library/group containers/ubf8t346g9.office/user content/templates

3.) move these files trash, not empty trash yet.
4.) open outlook mac client. 

5.) see if can set preferences , other settings desired.
6.) quit outlook. 
7.) wait few seconds allow new normal template generate or saved
8.) reopen outlook , check if changes of preference saved. 

if issue resolved, can delete these files mentioned above in trash. if not, please put deleted file old location. 

if above steps not fix issue, please provide following information further troubleshoot:

1.) the detailed outlook mac version, like 15.29 (170104).

2.) screenshot of font settings , affected email.

3.) issue occur specific user or users in organization?

4.) issue occur when composing new email or replying email?
