Attachment File Size in Outlook - Microsoft Community


outlook:  version 15.22 (160506)
machine: macbook pro (retina, 13-inch, 2015)
os:          os x yosemite (10.10.5)

issue

uploaded 1.6 mb pdf file as attachment size got bumped 2.1 mb.

client needed required file under 2mb

tried send same file through gmail , retained size, @ client's end. wonder if encoding issue outlook since happens every file.

your outlook (15.22 (160506)) not updated. our latest public version 15.31 (170216). firstly, please update outlook latest , see if issue can fixed. it, click > check updates in navigation bar.

 

if issue persists after updating outlook, please update os latest , see if there improvement.

 

however, if issue still occurs after updating os, i’d collect information investigation:

 

  1. do mean you’re using gmail account on outlook , encounter issue issue doesn’t appear when using gmail webmail?
  2. does issue occur different kind of files? example, word files, pdf files , other kind of files.
  3. please share screenshots of symptom.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
