Emails are downloaded to Outlook 2010, but remain unread on server - Microsoft Community


dear community,

i using outlook 2010 download emails yahoo mail. outlook marked messages read, on yahoo server, after having downloaded. past week changed. emails being downloaded outlook, remain unread on yahoo server. idea ensure downloaded email marked read on yahoo server?

allow verify following details, can isolate issue:

  • did install updates on computer prior issue?
  • have tried clearing caches on computer?

for initial troubleshooting, suggest un-sync , resync outlook profile yahoo account , see how goes.

Sync Error: 800CCC0F-0-0-560 and 8004DF03-0-0-560 - Microsoft Community

hello i know others have posted error, not recently, , not outlook 2016. have imap account. so receiving number of errors in synchronization logs (800ccc0f-0-0-560 , 8004df03-0-0-560). appears draft folder thats causing issue. however, there nothing saved in draft folder in outlook or webmail client. i have talked 4 different microsoft tech support people. have repaired office, repaired pst file, created new outlook data file, turned off antivirus, subscribed/unsubscirbed folders (though cant unsubscribe drafts). any ideas? hi weiss, you may getting errors due permissions in outlook. let's see if changing root folder make difference when syncing mail. follow these steps: open outlook. click on file . go account settings . select account settings . click on change . select more settings . go advanced . enter inbox as root folder path . click ok . restart outlook. let know if steps allow aroun...
