Spam from onmicrosoft.com domain - Microsoft Community

for couple months getting tons of spam emails onmicrosoft.com domain. running home pc office 365, outlook email. system ran fine until couple months back. appreciated. have tried running different rules continue show up.

we have receiving reports several customers started receiving lots of spam emails on mailboxes. our product group aware of , working on fix. however, not have estimated time frame when resolved.

 

but in constant watch , tries provide protection of our users best can. however, system that's behind emails getting circumvents rules in our spam filter system , rules users can create. programmers of these spam-generating servers change ip addresses 1 location , use different kinds of masking techniques.

 

currently, outlook.com spam filter system has ability know if message spam , thus, puts them in junk folder. these messages automatically deleted after 10 days. our product group working working have filtering system lessen, if not eliminate, these types of emails getting.

 

we recommend religiously report kind of emails junk in way our system can determine these emails originating from. lastly, please avoid posting email address site not trusted , make sure give email address persons whom trust , know.
