Hyperlinks in PowerPoint presentations - Microsoft Community

good morning

is there way hyperlinks work in powerpoint presentations?

the way i've foiund them work press 'esc' taking me developer mode, ctrl+click gets hyperlink work.

however, whilst solves problem, doesn't professional when making formal presentation clients.

ideally need hyperlink to;

   - internet

   - ms applications, e.g. outlook

   - ms word , ms excel files

i've tried searching web solution, i've found either contradictory or doesn't solve problem

many in anticipation of kind , appreciated assistance.

to better assist concern, ask few questions:

  • are using dual screen?
  • what hyperlink about?
  • what default web using?

i'm pleased able report i've found solution problem.  there 2 actions need performed hyperlinks (of kind) work in powerpoint presentation mode;

1. in settings, display/multiple displays must set 'duplicate these displays'

2. in powerpoint (2016) presentation, select; 'hide presenter view' 

then hyperlinks in powerpoint presentations 'says on tin'
