Outlook 2003 and outlook.com - Microsoft Community


my orange e-mail finishing, trying outlook.com e-mail account outlook 2003 inbox. 

although outlook 2003 'no longer supported' microsoft team gave me following settings:

incoming: imap imap-mail.outlook.com   ssl 993

outgoing: smtp smtp-mail.outlook.com   tls 587

i tried these, there no option choose tls in outgoing. tried choosing ssl in outgoing reverted automatically 25 in there previously.

then person said download outlook connector. did , think puts settings in automatically, don't know because can't see them. anyway doesn't work either.

can this? seems odd 2 ms products cannot talk each other.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
