DNS settings issue on Outlook for Mac 2011 - Microsoft Community


i getting these popup window alerts outlook mac 2011 every few minutes"

 

"outlook cannot find server. verify server information entered correctly in account settings, , dns settings in network pane of system preferences correct."

 

how correct issue??

here’re steps flush dns in mac:

  • step 1: open terminal
    • navigate applications -> utilities -> terminal
  • step 2: flush dns - type following command , hit enter. 
    • mac os x yosemite , later
      sudo killall -hup mdnsresponder
      • mac os x yosemite v10.10 through v10.10.3
        sudo discoveryutil mdnsflushcache
    • mac os x mavericks, mountain lion , lion
      sudo killall -hup mdnsresponder
    • mac os x snow leopard
      sudo dscacheutil -flushcache

Sync Error: 800CCC0F-0-0-560 and 8004DF03-0-0-560 - Microsoft Community

hello i know others have posted error, not recently, , not outlook 2016. have imap account. so receiving number of errors in synchronization logs (800ccc0f-0-0-560 , 8004df03-0-0-560). appears draft folder thats causing issue. however, there nothing saved in draft folder in outlook or webmail client. i have talked 4 different microsoft tech support people. have repaired office, repaired pst file, created new outlook data file, turned off antivirus, subscribed/unsubscirbed folders (though cant unsubscribe drafts). any ideas? hi weiss, you may getting errors due permissions in outlook. let's see if changing root folder make difference when syncing mail. follow these steps: open outlook. click on file . go account settings . select account settings . click on change . select more settings . go advanced . enter inbox as root folder path . click ok . restart outlook. let know if steps allow aroun...
