i had user same issue he's on windows 10 , outlook 2016. i've verified mfa disabled on account. windows equivalent of fix be?

please navigate to hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\office\16.0\common\identity\enableadal in registry , make sure value set 0.
if issue persists, since situation different olaf, i’d confirm following information narrow down issue:
- which account user using, office 365.com, outlook.com or others , how configured in outlook client, via exchange, pop/imap?
- the detailed version of user’s outlook client. please navigate file> office account> office updates to check it.
- could provide more details symptom, screenshots? when issue happen?
- does issue happen in other office products, word?
- if possible, please set account in outlook client check if issue persists? can identify if issue related outlook client.
- what’s organization environment, pure exchange online or have on-premises environment?
