Office for Mac 2016 Typing Terribly Slow - Microsoft Community


i upgraded office mac 2016.   prior versions did not have these issues.

when creating email in outlook - there delay - beach ball wheel spins , screen notched typing.

very frustrating - lots of starts , stops required waiting screen catch up.

i'm date on upgrades.  macbook pro.

i'm having other issues (ppt crashes etc.) delayed typing 1 driving me crazy.  

i've tried accessibility fix mentioned (i had no apps there).  i've tried manually update - on latest version.

who has solved this?

i have left private message collect process sample further analysis. may access via link: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/privatemessages/list

collect process sample:

1. launch activity monitor , find microsoft outlook process. select process.

2. in upper left hand side of toolbar, there gear icon. select , in drop down choose "sample process".

3. when dialog appears, please save file , send saved file us. note: collect sample when microsoft outlook not responding , spinning beach ball

Sync Error: 800CCC0F-0-0-560 and 8004DF03-0-0-560 - Microsoft Community

hello i know others have posted error, not recently, , not outlook 2016. have imap account. so receiving number of errors in synchronization logs (800ccc0f-0-0-560 , 8004df03-0-0-560). appears draft folder thats causing issue. however, there nothing saved in draft folder in outlook or webmail client. i have talked 4 different microsoft tech support people. have repaired office, repaired pst file, created new outlook data file, turned off antivirus, subscribed/unsubscirbed folders (though cant unsubscribe drafts). any ideas? hi weiss, you may getting errors due permissions in outlook. let's see if changing root folder make difference when syncing mail. follow these steps: open outlook. click on file . go account settings . select account settings . click on change . select more settings . go advanced . enter inbox as root folder path . click ok . restart outlook. let know if steps allow aroun...
