Disappearing Internet Calendars - Microsoft Community

i having ongoing problems disappearing internet calendars. have several internet calendars show problem so issue not isolated specific internet calendar.

i can add calendar , fine. however, after period of working (an hour or so), calendar disappear calendar list on left side of outlook 2016. if go account settings, may or may not see internet calendar listed there.

often times, calendar return after shutting down , restarting outlook 2016. however, after restarting, i see several presumed copies of internet calendar in calendar list. when select of duplicates, outlook beep , calendar may disappear list. these presumed because not appear these duplicates contain downloaded calendar items. after period of work, internet calendar disappear.

exchange calendars (including many shared calendars) appear operate properly.

the disappearing internet calendar problem reproducible. happens every outlook session.

i have tried:

• deleting internet calendars account settings , re-adding them.
• i have tried repairing office 365 (both types of repairs)
• i have tried reinstalling office 365
• i have tried running outlook recovery tool not have option problem.
• i tried deleting , rebuilding outlook profile.
• i rebuilt machine few weeks ago , thought sure resolve it. had same problem internet calendars.
• there older post in community said run /cleanprofile option apparently not available office 2016
• i saw community posting (with numerous me toos) had worthless reference adding internet calendars

internet calendars important work. can't function without them since information shared via method. having resign myself iphone/ipad reliably information need. not convenient nor functional.

set-up

• microsoft surface pro 4 i5
• windows 10 pro 14393.693 updates
• office 2016 downloaded via office 365 e3 subscription updates
• outlook 2016 is configured 3 o365/exchange accounts , 1 yahoo account. there 3 internet calendars should connected well.

please perform steps provided below:

step 1: use windows system file checker repair corrupted files.

1. close outlook.
2. right click start button in windows , choose: command prompt (admin). if don’t see option, instead choose: windows powershell (admin).
3. in command prompt window type: sfc /scannow (note space in command).
4. wait until process completes. doesn’t take longer 20 minutes regular hard disk, , takes shorter when have fast ssd drive.
5. restart computer, , open outlook.

step 2: if still same, please perform clean boot. start windows using minimal set of drivers, , start programs. also, helps eliminate software conflicts occur when install program, or update, or when run program in windows.
