can when outlook 2016 search function not working after rebuilding indexing.

if outlook version 1702 , build 7870.2020 or higher, i’d explain have been aware of issue , we’re working on resolve it. temporary workaround revert previous build (16.0.7571.2109). more details, please refer following article.

to check outlook version , build, please navigate file > office account > product information.

 

if it’s not scenario, i’d collect information investigation:

 

  1. in outlook client, navigate file > office account, please let know detailed version of outlook.
  2. does return “no results” if search keywords? if no, please share more information regarding symptom.
  3. what kind of accounts use, imap, pop or exchange accounts?
  4. when did issue occur, after recent update?

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
