Outlook for Mac 2016 error code 3253 - Microsoft Community

hi have purchased microsoft office mac , set outlook, can receive emails not send them, have never been able send in outlook. mail works fine , have had open mail send emails.

i using telstra email.

i have continually received 3253 message.

hi, omg fixed it!! turns out email still on old telstra bigpond pop mail.

finally works! need changed imap that's telstra's problem not yours.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
