Outlook 2013 crashes - Microsoft Community


outlook stopped working today, try open , tries, says there error , closes program.  did .ost repair, , program repair.  appreciated.

it's possible outlook crashing due add-ins. we'd learn more concern provide proper resolution. have few questions you:

  • did make changes computer before started happening?
  • what exact error message appears when launch outlook? please post screenshot.
  • do have third-party antivirus installed on computer?

in meantime, suggest run outlook in safe mode , disable add-ins. this, follow these steps:

1.    press windows key , r simultaneously.

2.    in run command, type outlook /safe (including space) , click ok.

3.    click file , select options.

4.    in left corner, click add-ins.

5.    at bottom part, click go button beside manage: com add-ins.

6.    deselect available add-ins , click ok.

7.    relaunch outlook , check if issue persists.

let know if outlook stops crashing after disabling add-ins.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
