Authentication error message in Outlook 2011 for Mac as of 3.21.17 - Microsoft Community


i have hotmail & msn email accounts set in office 2011 mac.  this past monday march 21st unable receive or send hotmail emails , can receive msn emails.  i authentication error alert.  the alert keeps popping persistently well.  something occurred last year , there sort of bug on microsofts side got fixed.  my outlook had worked trouble free until now.

the persistent error alerts i'm receiving since 3/21 make difficult composed emails using other email accounts.  any guidance what's going on appreciated.

please log in hotmail web app , see if can send or receive mails successfully.

if works in web page, please let me know information below:
1. detailed version of outlook mac such 14.7.1 161129
2. please change mac , see if can send or receive mails normally.
3. screenshot of authentication error alert.
4. re-add hotmail account outlook mac 2011 see if works.

Sync Error: 800CCC0F-0-0-560 and 8004DF03-0-0-560 - Microsoft Community

hello i know others have posted error, not recently, , not outlook 2016. have imap account. so receiving number of errors in synchronization logs (800ccc0f-0-0-560 , 8004df03-0-0-560). appears draft folder thats causing issue. however, there nothing saved in draft folder in outlook or webmail client. i have talked 4 different microsoft tech support people. have repaired office, repaired pst file, created new outlook data file, turned off antivirus, subscribed/unsubscirbed folders (though cant unsubscribe drafts). any ideas? hi weiss, you may getting errors due permissions in outlook. let's see if changing root folder make difference when syncing mail. follow these steps: open outlook. click on file . go account settings . select account settings . click on change . select more settings . go advanced . enter inbox as root folder path . click ok . restart outlook. let know if steps allow aroun...
