Changes in shared mailbox in cached mode not updating to server - - Microsoft Community


hello,

i have shared mailbox i'm trying desperately move off of online mode due constant slowness issues in outlook 2016. however, when mailbox in cached mode, takes multiple minutes update changes server. changes like:

  • changing categories on mail
  • moving mail
  • marking mail read/unread

this causes issues in syncing work between employees , causes users double work.

i've tried rebuilding cache scratch, deleting specific folders' cache , letting them rebuild, , making new profile.

i'm hoping has seen before , can assist.

edit: reference, seems clearing offline items in folder resolves issue temporarily accept categories not updating. way categories update seems moving mail different folders.
