Connecting a hotmail account to outlook 2013 - Microsoft Community


unable connect hotmail account outlook 2013.  account working before recent upgrade online outlook.  the outlook 2013 program crashes when attempt reconnect account using directions provided at the link at https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=837697.  repeated requests for my login password.

 

open mail applet in control panel. click email accounts button. select hotmail account , remove it. add in again, specifying address , password. allow outlook configure account automatically. should come , work properly. see [action required] reconnect outlook 2016 or outlook 2013 outlook.com uninterrupted email access.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
