Outlook - Microsoft Community

i created unified mail box in outlook 2016 connect email accounts. now, don't receive sound notification incoming emails. tried creating rule, still won't work. help!

for better assistance, know more information concern.

• when did issue occur?
• did make recent changes on computer or outlook settings?

i suggest check in play sound in outlook enabled.

1. launch outlook application.
2. go file tab, click options , select mail.
3. in right pane, kindly check if play sound enabled.
   
4. click ok , check if hear sound upon receiving email message.
