Powerpoint does not restart after closing once, requires full computer - Microsoft Community


powerpoint 2016 on windows 10 not restart after closing once, requires full computer reboot. big pita since have been having issue after issue office products after bought computer running windows 10 , office 2016.

from description, seems need restart computer open powerpoint 2016 each time when close client. issue seems happen in newly bought computer running windows 10.

 

if yes, i’d confirm , provide following.

1. issue happen before in newly bought computer? when issue happen?

2. other office 2016 applications has same issue?

3. list detailed reproducing steps of issue our troubleshooting.

 

given situation, suggest check , try following.

1. navigate task manager>check processes , details see if powerpoint running. if yes, click end task , run powerpoint see result.

2. follow steps in article run powerpoint 2016 in safe mode see if issue goes away.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
