outlook will not open - Microsoft Community


working away on emails , outlook 2010 shuts down.

when try open says "outlook trying recover data...", says "outlook has stopped working" , choice "close program"

tried going start , fix outlook.  didn't help.  now guess need remove , replace.  please guide me thru that.

type of email account using in outlook? pop3, imap, exchange etc?  it sounds data file or profile might corrupt. try renaming data file , see if outlook starts (when asks find data file, create new 1 or select different 1 - not renamed file) - if so, run scanpst on old data file.  you try new profile.

Sync Error: 800CCC0F-0-0-560 and 8004DF03-0-0-560 - Microsoft Community

hello i know others have posted error, not recently, , not outlook 2016. have imap account. so receiving number of errors in synchronization logs (800ccc0f-0-0-560 , 8004df03-0-0-560). appears draft folder thats causing issue. however, there nothing saved in draft folder in outlook or webmail client. i have talked 4 different microsoft tech support people. have repaired office, repaired pst file, created new outlook data file, turned off antivirus, subscribed/unsubscirbed folders (though cant unsubscribe drafts). any ideas? hi weiss, you may getting errors due permissions in outlook. let's see if changing root folder make difference when syncing mail. follow these steps: open outlook. click on file . go account settings . select account settings . click on change . select more settings . go advanced . enter inbox as root folder path . click ok . restart outlook. let know if steps allow aroun...
