Gmail will not sync in Outlook for Mac - Microsoft Community


hi,

i have several email accounts running on outlook mac 2016, 1 of gmail. of them sync automatically , perfectly, except gmail. believe has been problem several years - know why, , whether there fix?

in situation, suggest create test profile in outlook mac , configure account see if issue still happens.

note: before creating test profile, please outlook data export items archive file in outlook mac to prevent data loss.

if issue still happens, please provide screenshot of sync error?

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
