Office 2016 seems broken on surface pro - Microsoft Community


i bought surface pro.

everytime update outlook, add accounts etc. outlook stops working.

this not haven on regular stationary or on android phone.

but on surface outlook installation gets corrupt. on patches instance language tools, , when wanted add second office365 account outloook.

it seems incredible broken , full of flaws, surface os or outlook 2016 main course ?

it hard blame here information provided.

in way installation corrupt?

are using office 365 based installation or msi-based installation of office?

what exact version number of outlook?
file-> office account

can repro issue in outlook safe mode?
start-> type; outlook.exe /safe
(note space in command above)

which add-ins have installed , enabled?
file-> options-> add-ins

which mail account type using?
file-> account settings-> account settings...

what logged event viewer these crashes?

Sync Error: 800CCC0F-0-0-560 and 8004DF03-0-0-560 - Microsoft Community

hello i know others have posted error, not recently, , not outlook 2016. have imap account. so receiving number of errors in synchronization logs (800ccc0f-0-0-560 , 8004df03-0-0-560). appears draft folder thats causing issue. however, there nothing saved in draft folder in outlook or webmail client. i have talked 4 different microsoft tech support people. have repaired office, repaired pst file, created new outlook data file, turned off antivirus, subscribed/unsubscirbed folders (though cant unsubscribe drafts). any ideas? hi weiss, you may getting errors due permissions in outlook. let's see if changing root folder make difference when syncing mail. follow these steps: open outlook. click on file . go account settings . select account settings . click on change . select more settings . go advanced . enter inbox as root folder path . click ok . restart outlook. let know if steps allow aroun...
